Jigsaw Community Counselling Centre seeks to make a difference to the people of North Belfast and beyond by providing a caring, professional and confidential counselling service that will help people to be the best they can be.
Jigsaw CCC is the brainchild of Carol Massey and the organisation launched on 21st June 2010.
As a young person growing up in North Belfast, Carol was only too aware of the problems facing society. The vision was to have a place where people could come and feel safe to talk about problem issues that were affecting them.
After introducing the schools counselling service into a number of local primary schools it became clear that to maintain the positive changes a holistic approach was needed whereby parents, carers, teachers, and others in the wider community could get the support they needed.
Jigsaw now provides accessible and inclusive counselling to hundreds of adults and young people each year.
Jigsaw Community Counselling Centre comprises of a Board of Directors with one chairperson, a vice-chairperson and a number of directors. The Board is responsible for the corporate governance of the organisation.
The centre is home to a team of qualified and student counsellors providing services to adults and young people. We also have a team of school’s counsellors working in a number of primary schools
Jigsaw Community Counselling Centre is a not for profit charity organisation based in North Belfast and is funded through grants and fund-raising activities.
